Lead/Senior ML Data Scientist - Wealth Management - London, United Kingdom
Investinu Group is excited to partner with a leading Wealth Management FinTech organisation to support their search for a highly motivated Lead/Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist to join their London-based team.

This role will lead the development and deployment of AI solutions across the company’s innovative Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms. You will spearhead the integration of data-driven strategies to enhance product offerings and ensure optimal client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the data science team, setting and executing the AI strategy to enhance the organisation’s CLM products.
- Drive innovation by developing AI-driven features such as predictive analytics, machine learning classifiers, and natural language processing (NLP) capabilities.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and client-facing teams to ensure AI solutions align with client needs and business objectives.
- Oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection to model deployment, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with the company’s goals.
- Develop and mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.
- Continuously monitor emerging AI and data science technologies, identifying opportunities for their application within the company’s product suite.
- Build and implement feedback loops for AI models to enable continuous improvement and adaptation based on performance metrics and client interactions.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience, with at least 2 years managing a data science or AI team.
- Expertise in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, including experience with NLP, large language models (LLMs), and predictive analytics.
- Strong technical skills in Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and other AI/ML tools.
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data, and a solid understanding of data set requirements and creation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) for deploying AI solutions within SaaS products.
- A background in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, to create efficient ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Beneficial Skills:
- Experience in the financial services or wealth management sector, particularly with CLM or CRM systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure ML, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake.
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, including model transparency, explainability, and bias detection.
- Experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment.
