We are recruiting for a Head of Trading & Execution Services Architect on behalf of a leading banking institution in New York. This role is suited to a highly experienced technology and trading professional with expertise in execution architecture, electronic trading platforms, and market connectivity. The individual will lead the design and development of advanced execution services, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Highlights of This Role
- Minimum of 12–15 years’ experience in trading technology, execution services, or market infrastructure within a banking or financial services environment.
- Lead the architecture, design, and optimisation of trading execution systems, ensuring low-latency performance and high availability.
- Oversee electronic trading workflows, execution algorithms, smart order routing, and API integrations across multiple asset classes.
- Work closely with quantitative teams, traders, and compliance departments to align technology with trading strategies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure exchange connectivity, liquidity access, and risk management frameworks are robust and efficient.
- Drive innovation in trading architecture, leveraging cloud computing, AI, and automation to enhance execution capabilities.
- Maintain compliance with SEC, FINRA, and other relevant regulatory standards, ensuring best practices in execution transparency and operational resilience.
