Head of Sales - Wealth Management - Geneva, Switzerland
Investinu Group is excited to partner with a leading Wealth Management FinTech organisation in their search for a dynamic Head of Sales to lead business expansion efforts in Switzerland.
This role is key in driving the company’s continued success within the Wealth Management and Private Banking sectors. The company provides two key solutions: a flagship Client Lifecycle Management platform and a new cutting-edge SaaS-based product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for Switzerland, with a specific focus on building relationships with Private Banks and Wealth Management institutions.
- Lead a high-performing sales team to generate new business opportunities, increase market share, and deliver on revenue targets.
- Oversee the complete sales cycle, with an average cycle time of 18 months, from client acquisition and product demonstration through to negotiation, contract closing, and onboarding.
- Manage relationships with private banks, ensuring the company’s Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform built are effectively introduced and adopted within the Swiss market as well as and a new SaaS-based solution.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of the organisation’s software, including regular product updates (occurring every 4-5 years) and client adaptation to these changes.
- Drive the tender process from start to finish, including preparing proposals, delivering presentations, and facilitating the implementation of solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with market needs and product innovations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent the company at key industry events and conferences to strengthen the organisation’s presence in Switzerland.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a senior sales leader within the financial services, wealth management, or FinTech sectors, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in selling complex solutions to private banks and wealth management firms, including managing long sales cycles (average of 18 months) and closing high-value deals.
- Experience developing a client base within the Private Banking sector is essential.
- Deep understanding of the wealth management and private banking landscape in Switzerland, including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.
- Ability to manage the complete tender process, from client acquisition to final deal closure.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and managing effective sales teams.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
